Spotlight: Pulled up (bled from the nose) at Cheltenham Festival in March but quickly bounced back with creditable second to Long Draw there (3m, good) last month; on a tough mark now but was placed in this race last year and probably won't be far away.

Spotlight: In-form 6yo who was one of two to pull nicely clear of the others when winning a conditions hurdle at Down Royal (3m, good) on Monday; has 7lb penalty to carry in this competitive handicap but ought to run well again.

Spotlight: Just did enough to pip My Bobby Dazzler in this race last year (good ground; wore cheekpieces) and returned to form with front-running success in first-time visor at Newbury (3m, good to soft) in March; safely held, though, in Cheltenham race won by Long Draw in April and remains on career-high mark.

Spotlight: Returned to form in refitted cheekpieces right at the end of last season, collecting a good prize at Plumpton before second under a penalty at Sandown (also 2m4f, good); can feature if suited by the new trip.

Spotlight: Weakened into fourth behind Long Draw and Harbour Lake at Cheltenham (3m, good) last month; that wasn't a bad run and he's now 4lb lower than when close second to Zain Nights in this race a year ago but younger rivals appeal more all the same.

Spotlight: Ex-French 5yo; not an instant success in Britain but ended last season with two small-field novice wins at Bangor (2m3f/2m7f, good); has considerably more on his plate in this good-quality handicap but remains unexposed over this sort of trip; interesting.

Spotlight: Collected three 2m7f wins on good ground in early part of last season and looked back in good nick when second at Newcastle (2m4f, good) last month; probably needs recent wind op to enable a career-best effort here, though.

Spotlight: 4-18 over hurdles; probably in career-best form when battling on well for narrow win at Ludlow (2m5f, good; front pair clear) in March, after a break, but contests this stronger race from a 5lb higher mark.

Spotlight: Unexposed 6yo who won a 2m4f maiden in January; about 18l behind Mostly Sunny when fourth on recent handicap debut at Plumpton (2m4f, good) but may improve over this longer trip (although he's not bred for it).
