Spotlight: 11yo who won three times last year, including this race (good to firm); this front-runner has been placed at Pontefract (1m, good) and Ripon (1m2f, good) on his last two starts; 3-5 at Ayr and he's on the shortlist.

Spotlight: With a new yard this year; her mark continues to slide and Jim Goldie should find the key at some stage, but she needs to produce more than she's managed on her first three starts for the stable.

Spotlight: Rejuvenated on AW late last year, winning two in a row at Newcastle (1m); it's possible he'll improve for last month's outing at Beverley (7.4f, good to firm; seventh of ten), which was his first of the year, but he needs to prove he can transfer his AW resurgence back to turf.

Spotlight: 18 visits to Ayr have yielded nine wins, the latest last September; the return to Ayr could be the catalyst for a big run but he's struggled at Musselburgh and Thirsk this year and a major turnaround is needed from this 12yo.

Spotlight: Three C&D wins last year (various ground) and she's just 1lb above her last winning mark; soundly beaten over C&D a fortnight ago but she may have needed that reappearance outing and is not discounted.
